The contract between you and Bequest. Read it before you ship.
These Terms govern your access to and use of Bequest (the "Service"), operated by Bequest, a DDG company. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe. You must provide accurate identity information; we may require additional verification at any time to meet our regulatory obligations.
Bequest is for moving charitable gifts and person-to-person transfers. You will not use the Service for: prohibited businesses (gambling, controlled substances, sanctions-listed transactions, etc.), money laundering, fraud, or any unlawful activity.
The standard fee is one U.S. dollar ($1.00) per transaction. Volume rates, FX rates, and special-route surcharges are documented in your order form. Fees are non-refundable except where the transaction itself is reversed.
Transactions settle subject to availability of funds, sanctions screening, and our risk policies. We may delay, reverse, or refuse any transaction we reasonably believe to be unauthorized, fraudulent, or non-compliant.
You retain rights to content you submit (campaign pages, donor records, etc.). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our policies, or applicable law. We will, where possible, give you reasonable notice and time to retrieve your data.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those required by law. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the prior twelve months.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to a different forum.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-product and by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
